Fuel Plan for Red Hills

Because this triathlon's a sprint, I won't have to worry much about fuel. (Famous last words.) But just so I'm clear ...

I'll eat a good breakfast before the tri and try to choke down some Gatorade. (Not TOO much, though.) Then I'll swim, run up to T1, and hop on the bike, which will be equipped with more Gatorade.

At T2, I'll grab a gel and down it while I'm running. I'll stop for water at the turnaround and then make my way back to the finish! At which point I will make plans for a big ol' early lunch. ;)

So I'll need two bottles of Gatorade and one gel of my choice to get me through the race.
